Cambridge and Jeffersonville residents and businesses are invited to participate in Scarecrows in the Village! Create your own scarecrow for all to enjoy on display in Jeff Village this October. Visitors and trick or treaters are also encouraged to vote for their favorite scarecrows by or before Halloween. Creators of the winning scarecrows will receive prizes!

Set-up
Scarecrow set-up officially begins Saturday, October 22nd. If you already have a spot in the Village, great! If you need a spot, several Main Street businesses have offered up space. Hay bales will be in place by October 22nd. Please be sure to stand or support your scarecrow with the hay bale instead of making holes in the ground.

Pickup
Scarecrows should be picked up by November 2, 2022. Any scarecrow that is not claimed will be removed and recycled by a Rec Board member.

The Cambridge Recreation Board is hosting a Scarecrow Build Party at the Cambridge Community Center on October 22nd from 2:00 – 4:00. RSVP if you're interested!
