In our continuing effort to support needy families in our area, as winter approaches and with increased food insecurity in our area presently, the Peacham Congregational Church will be hosting its next non-perishable drive-through food drive on Saturday, October 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m, or via drop-off anytime between Thursday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 18. Especially needed are cereal, juices, sugar, jams/jellies, peanut butter, jars of pasta sauce, canned tuna, and canned fruit. To make your donation, simply drive to the back of the church, where there will be attendants to serve you on Saturday during the above hours, or, during any other times, drop off donations in the collection baskets in the breezeway behind the kitchen. Any items in addition to those distributed to identified families will go to the Danville Food Shelf. We hope to see you on Saturday the 15th, and we are very grateful for your ongoing support.
