The Lincoln Gap Road to Warren will be closed for the winter on the early morning of October 13th- TOMORROW.
Barriers will be installed on both the Lincoln and Warren sides so please plan to park elsewhere as of October 12th (TODAY) so you won't get boxed in!
Beyond the closure point, the narrow, winding, high elevation road can be treacherous even when the weather elsewhere is clear.
If there are road closed signs and your GPS says you should go that way, know that your GPS is wrong.
**When there are ROAD CLOSED signs please take another route.**
~The towns of Lincoln and Warren work together, so both sides open and close the same day. With some small adjustments for the weather (like an early or late snowfall), in the Fall, the Gap is usually closed by mid-October. In the Spring, the Gap is usually open around mid-May.~
