The first “Hi Neighbor!” event, held on Fri, June 20 was “Pamtastic!” Featured guest Pam Fuller regaled attendees with humorous stories about her life and times living in the area and as owner of Nichols store. It was a lively, entertaining evening. Many thanks to Pam and the community members who attended.

“Hi Neighbor!” is an opportunity to mingle with other Danby and Mt Tabor neighbors and receive updates on plans to create a permanent veterans’ memorial dedicated to the 630+ citizens of our towns who served in the military during wartime.

The next "Hi Neighbor!" is this coming Friday, June 27 with Carol Wehner, a lifelong Vermont resident, owner of the 1820 House of Antiques and a person of many interests. The event starts at 7 pm (doors open at 6:30) at 34 South Main St in Danby (the big yellow building). Music will be provided by Beth Thompson. Beverages and light refreshments served. No admission charge – donations to support the Veterans’ Memorial Fund appreciated. Come have some Friday evening fun.
