Calais/East Montpelier Historical Society October Meeting

The Calais-East Montpelier Historical Societies will meet on Monday, Oct. 17 at the East Calais Community Center. There will be a potluck supper at 6 PM. Bring your favorite dish to share and your own place setting. Hot water will be available.

At 7 P.M., Anson Tebbetts, Secretary of Vermont Agriculture, will talk about the History of Agriculture in Vermont. He grew up on a farm in Cabot, and was Deputy Secretary of Agriculture for a few years prior to 2011 at which time he returned to WCAX as News Director. He has been in his current position since 2017.

All are welcome for both the potluck and program, or just the program. The E. Calais Comm Ctr. is located on Moscow Woods Rd. in East Calais, across the bridge and to the right-in the same building as the Post Office.
