The Essex-Jericho-Underhill Food Shelf will hold a distribution this Saturday October 15 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 273 Rt 15 Jericho from 9:00 to 10:30 am. This food shelf is sponsored by 11 local churches and many other community groups and members. Special donations this month come from Tucker Andrews and Transition Town Jericho Extra Row Project (butternut squash), Chapin Orchard, and Jericho Settlers Farm. The Food Shelf is open to all in need. If you would like to contribute, the following staples are most desired: peanut butter, pasta and sauce, baked beans, cereal , and canned fruit. These items can be placed in labeled donation bins at the Jericho Market, Price Chopper-Essex and Hannaford-Essex. Questions?
