Have you ever seen someone walking with poles and wondered, WHY? Come try out Nordic Poles and learn how to properly walk with poles to improve balance and stability as well as maintain proper postural alignment. Nordic Pole Walking burns up to 46% more calories than walking without poles .When you walk with poles, you activate muscles below and above the waist, allowing for up to 90% of your muscle to be engaged. You're much more stable when you use poles, because you have more ground contact points and you're not relying on two feet alone. This class is FREE, is geared for all fitness levels and will be held outside. Limited number of poles available to borrow.

Meet at Veterans Memorial Park at the skate hut/ice rink next to Vergennes Union Elementary School on East St.
Mondays starting October 10th from 11:00am-12:15pm. for 3 weeks or maybe longer if there is interest!!
