The Stowe Reporter will be holding a debate this upcoming Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the Stowe High School Auditorium. Democrat Scott Weathers will face off against Jed Lipsky, an independent.

The events start at 6 p.m., although the doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The debate will last about 90 minutes each and be moderated by Tommy Gardner.

I encourage everyone who is interested to learn more about this important election to attend and make your voice heard. Democracy only works when we all participate.

Stoweites who are interested in following the Lamoille-Washington race can attend the debate on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the auditorium at People's Academy.
