The Annual Hardwick Trails PUMPKIN WALK is back!
Come walk the woodland paths all alit with the candle-bright faces of pumpkins carved by the artist-students of Hardwick Elementary School, beginning at 6:00 on Sunday, October 16.
The Friendly Witch (aka Lesa Cathcart) will tell stories with her wonderful sparkly eyes and wild, funny laugh. Close by, the Great Bonfire lights the night where everyone gathers after the walk for cider and donuts.
All are invited to share this magic. The Hardwick Trails Committee is so grateful to energetic art teacher Beth LeCours who makes it possible for all the HES students to show off their masterpieces. And behind the scenes are so many willing volunteers—this is indeed a community effort. And a community tradition.
Come to the Hazen Union parking lot and follow the pumpkin signs to the trail. Kids, parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors: all are welcome.
