Penny Miller, an Underhill community member, has been educating herself on Jumping Worms—their potential for damaging gardens, their significant threat to our forests and maple trees, and the ease with which someone can unknowingly spread them. Based on her research and her communication with a UVM professor, Penny has been experimenting with identifying Jumping Worms and techniques to bring them under better control, and she will share her process and results at this outdoor workshop held at the Deborah Rawson Library garden. Rain or shine, no registration required.
