It was a little over a year ago that Mark Ray, owner of Stowe Cider, asked me if I would host a weekly open mic night at Stowe Cider. And almost every Thursday night since then, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m., we have been fortunate enough to have had a great variety of local and visiting musicians help create what has become an amazing community event. This Thursday, October 6, we are going to take it to the next level and have an open jam – kind of like an open mic, but more collaborative and slightly more structured. Anyone is welcome to join in the fun. Some instruments will be available, but feel free to bring your own. Along with their fantastic hard ciders, Stowe Cider will have oysters from School Street Kitchen, and there will be a cocktail takeover by St. Johnsbury Distillery. We hope to see you there.
