The front gardens of the Poultney, VT Post Office are getting an upgrade! The Poultney Mettowee Conservation District is working with postal staff on installing a pollinator garden right on Main Street.
On October 13th and 14th, join the Nursery crew in removing the current ornamental grass and replacing it with a variety of native flowers and plants. This is a great opportunity to learn about pollinators and native plants, all while bringing beauty to Downtown Poultney.
We believe that through thoughtful gardening, areas like this can provide many functions to the community and the ecosystem that we live in.
Please bring a pair of gardening gloves, a water bottle, and be prepared to have fun playing in the soil!
Located at 123 Main Street Poultney, VT 05764
