My Tuesday evenings have been busy with rehearsals and excitement about the music we're preparing. The Burlington Choral Society's fall concert, titled Bohemian Baroque, will be on Saturday, November 19, 7:30 p.m., at Elley-Long Music Center at St. Michael's College in Fort Ethan Allen, Colchester, VT.

Our artistic director, Richard Riley, will lead the chorus, with soloists and string orchestra, in flamboyant, theatrical music from unconventional Bohemian-born composers Heinrich Biber (1644-1704) and Jan Zelenka (1679-1745).
