The Monkton volunteer group, Working With Wildlife, will be hosting two speakers on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 6:30 pm in the Monkton Town Hall. This informative program with focus on how to coexist with beavers and bears. The speakers will be Jackie Comeau, a wildlife biologist and the black bear project leader for the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department, and John Aberth, a wildlife rehabilitator, author, and professor who recently spent two years rehabilitating an orphaned beaver kit.
