STEAM Ahead Saturdays continues at the Winooski Memorial Library this month for youth ages 5 and up! Each Saturday from 10-11 AM features a project for young learners that introduces participants to science, technology, engineering, and art and math-based concepts.

October STEAM Schedule:
• *Tomorrow!* October 1st, Pulleys: We will learn about simple machines by making our own fixed pulleys to lift weights.
• October 8th, Code & Go Robot Mice: We will learn introductory coding concepts by programming a robot mouse step-by-step through a maze to find a cheese wedge!
• October 15th, Leaf Art: We'll make animal collages using fallen leaves and other natural items.
• October 22nd, Paper Tube Bats: This week, we'll learn about Vermont bats and craft our own spooky creations.
• October 29th, DIY Costumes: We'll work on designing and making our own costumes out of cardboard and other everyday items!
