5:05 PUBLIC HEARING
Soliciting input regarding the proposed merger of the Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department into the Town of Middlesex. The MVFD has historically been a separate 501(c)(3) organization operating out of a Town-owned building with Town-owned equipment. The Select Board and the MVFD have been planning this change and would appreciate public input and/or questions. No action.

REGULAR MEETING

5:20 Scheduling a date for a possible merger of the MVFD within the Town of Middlesex's governmental structure. Action possible.

5:30 Considering a request from Central Vermont Home Health & Hospice and other service organization to rescind the Board's decision on September 18, 2022, requiring petitions of 5% of the voters for articles on Town Meeting Warnings requesting more than $250. Action likely.

5:45 Considering a request from the Wrightsville Beach District for ARPA funds designated to Middlesex. Action possible.

6:00 Treasurer's Report: an update on town finance, action possible.

6:15 Highway Report: an update on Town roads and equipment. Approving signature of the VTrans "Better Roads Grant" for $22,000 to aid the Highway Department with bringing Town road in compliance with VTDEC standards. Action likely.

- Approving the minutes of the September 18, 2022, Select Board Meeting. Action likely.
- Updates on a recent meeting with architects re: the RFP to study Town Hall feasibility. Action possible.
