SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
All activities are on Branch Road from the Halifax School to the Community Hall. This section of Branch Road will be CLOSED to through traffic.
Lunch vendors Location: The Fire House Time: 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: Determined by vendor.
CHILI COOK OFF Location: Fire House Time: 12:00 – 1:30 for sampling/voting
Cost: $2:00 for a sample of each chili and a voting ticket.
Cost: Chili by the cup/bowl determined by vendor
Live Music with Richie Mitnick & Ethel Lee. Location: In between the fire house and the Historical Society
Time: 12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Kid's and Pet's Parade
Location: Line up at the community hall.
Time: Line Up: 1:45 p.m. Parade Starts at: 2:00 p.m.
Face painting (free) Tips accepted Location: Grange/Church by Artist: April Horton
Time: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Bingo sponsored by the Halifax 8th grade Location: Halifax Firehouse Time: 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Fireman's Waterpolo Time: TBD Weather & Temperature permitting
SoftBall Location: The school field. Time: 4:15 ish Bring a glove.
Dinner Grilled by the Halifax Celebration Committee.
Location: Halifax Fire Company, Time: 5:00 – 7:30.
BAND: BOOM BOX Location: Halifax Fire Company Time: 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Cost: Donations accepted
ONGOING FESTIVITIES
- Corn Hole, Ladder Ball and other games will be set up all day.
- Scavenger Hunt for an entry to win a candy board
- Face Painting
- Ice cream, Snacks and desserts will be available for purchase.
- Lunchtime hot foods will be available for purchase from vendors.
- Halifax Historical Society will be open 12-4 pm.
- A variety of raffles will be available as well as T-Shirts to purchase
- Bring your own lawn chairs, lawn games, tables, easy up tents.
- Hay rides
