Town of Rochester Public Forum: Zoning Update Project

Past event
Oct 4, 2022, 6 to 7:15 PM

The Rochester Planning Commission is inviting the public to a provide input on updating our town zoning regulations. In particular, the board seeks community input on housing, planned unit development, accessory dwellings, and other development topics of interest. Rochester's Zoning Regulations were last updated in 2009. This is an opportunity for community members to ask questions and share ideas and concerns about how our town zoning is addressing development issues and preparing us for the future.

This public forum will be held at the Planning Commission meeting on Tuesday, October 4th, from 6 to 7:15 PM at the Rochester Town Office. To attend the meeting by Zoom, contact the Town Clerk for access information.

The Planning Commission will use community input to update the regulations and a second public meeting will be scheduled for February. The revised regulations will be reviewed by the Selectboard, which will hold another public hearing before finalizing and adopting.
