Bear Pond Books and the Vermont College of Fine Arts will be hosting Senator Patrick Leahy on Saturday October 1st to celebrate his new memoir "The Road Taken". The Senator will be interviewed by another Montpelier native, journalist and author Garrett Graff ("Watergate: A New History"). After the interview, the Senator will take audience questions. Books will be available for sale at the event.
The event starts at 5pm at the College Hall Chapel at VCFA (36 College St, Montpelier). Doors will open at 4:30pm. Go to Bear Pond Books' website for all the details: bearpondbooks.com. The event is free and open to the public. The chapel is accessible by elevator.
