Hello all! You're invited to a ribbon cutting of the newest Mad River Path section! See below for info:

A grand opening of the Spaulding Greenway, a new public trail of the Mad River Path network, will be held on Tuesday, September 27 starting at 5pm. All are welcome to this ribbon cutting event. Cider and doughnuts (donated by Cold Hollow Cider) will be offered to accompany attendees during their inaugural walk along the path. Project partners will be on site to answer questions about the new path and the conservation project in the works on this land owned by the Vermont Land Trust. Parking for this event will be at "The Pines" rest area at the corner of Tremblay Rd and Rt 100 and across the road on the grassed area. The grand opening will be held 100 yards down Tremblay Rd at the trailhead; look for cones and signs. Contact Ross Saxton at ross@madriverpath.org with any questions.
