Mt. Tabor-Danby Historical Society presents Old East Mount Tabor

Car pool at 1:30 p.m. Sunday 25 September 2022 (rescheduled) from Griffith Memorial Library, 73 South Main St., Danby

Guided easy hike from Forest Road 10 0.3 mi. to the site of the 1907 Clark Lodge. For those who are interested, there will be a further hike from Forest Road 279 0.4 mile along a woodroad to the ruins of the farm of E. Turner, which the 1869 Beers Atlas shows as the southeasternmost dwelling in Mt. Tabor. Time and energy permitting, the outing will end with a half mile hike from Forest Road 10 to the Burton Cemetery, burial place of many residents of the east part of town.
