Genealogy and Slavery Discussion Group Sept. 29

Past event
Sep 29, 2022, 6 to 8 PM

We are a discussion group of people who are researching our ancestors' connections to slavery. We meet monthly to share research experiences and to discuss the challenges of uncovering difficult, long-hidden truths. Each meeting includes a focused discussion about how this work can connect to the current struggles for racial justice. We also include a short educational section. Our next meeting is Thursday, September 29 from 6-8 pm, via Zoom. If you're interested in participating, contact doriew[at] radicalrootsgenealogy.org for more information.
