This Saturday, June 21, at 9:00AM, I will be conducting and workshop/conversation about reducing our fossil fuel usage. Come join me at the 6th annual “Villagebuilding Convergence”  a Transition Town Montpelier region project at All Together Now, 130 Cherry Tree Hill Rd, off Town Hill Rd, East Montpelier. For more Information visit: www.vbc-vt.org

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION: Climate change and increasingly erratic weather patterns, a dead locked US Congress, lack of international cooperation, rising debt and the economic growth imperative. It appears there is no solution to the increasing use of fossil fuel and energy in general. We can’t rely on state and international governments, much less corporations, to take the action necessary to blunt the coming effects of increasing fossil fuel use. But we can accept our part in this scene and take personal responsibility and action as individuals and as local communities.

This workshop will be an interactive conversation aimed at developing your personal energy descent action plan or PEDAP. It will be an experiment to see if it is possible to be clear about how one can embrace conservation and reduce the amount of fossil fuel one uses.
