Steps to End Domestic Violence is excited to host our first Field Day Celebration as part of our Steps for Social Change fundraiser, presented by Bia Diagnostics! We'd like to invite everyone to join us on October 1 at Oakledge Park to celebrate community and support survivors. The event will run from 11:30am - 1:00pm. It's free, fun for all ages and any donations support the work of Steps to Domestic Violence!
There will be a variety of family-friendly activities and food to enjoy. Kids and adults can race their friends on an inflatable obstacle course (sponsored by 14th Star and Farrell Distributing) and compete for the best time. The top three finishers will win gift cards for the Farmhouse Group! Children and adults alike can tie-dye a t-shirt or a pair of socks. Create a team and have a hula hoop race, play cornhole or just come by and relax with some music and food while we celebrate our first opportunity in years to come together as a community. We are hosting this event with the intention of bringing survivors and supporters together to reconnect and engage in physical wellness and fun.
Steps to End Domestic Violence is on a mission to assist in the transition to a safe, independent life for all those who have been affected physically, sexually, emotionally, or economically by domestic abuse and to promote a culture that fosters justice, equity, and safety.
