Jens Hawkins-Hilke, Conservation Planning Biologist with the Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department, will speak at the October 17, 2022 meeting of the Craftsbury Conservation Commission. The meeting will convene in Craftsbury Town Hall at 7 p.m. At this open meeting, Jens will:

- Review maps of land use
- Suggest ways Craftsbury could use its Conservation Fund to preserve and enhance the natural environment
- Identify natural resource conservation approaches in the absence of zoning ordinances
- Suggest steps homeowners, landowners, foresters and farmers can take to preserve and enhance our natural assets
