Site Walk with Fellowship of the Wheel
When: Saturday October 1, 2022 at 10.00am,
Meet at: Mud Pond Conservation Area Trail Head

The Williston Conservation Commission has discussed a trail project with Fellowship of the Wheel in the Mud Pond Conservation Area.

The purpose of the work would be to provide a safer route to the Country Park for cyclists that avoids South Road. The work would be on a small section of the trail between the parking lot and road crossing and would benefit all trail users. Pedestrian priority would be maintained and cycling would not be permitted in the rest of the Conservation Area.

A site walk will be held at the Mud Pond Conservation Area to view the route and discuss the improvements on Saturday October 1 at 10.00am

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and provide feedback. Pre-registration is requested by calling Simon Myles on 878-6704 or emailing smyles@willistonvt.org. Please also contact with any questions.

Please car pool where possible.

This would be followed by a discussion at the Williston Conservation Commission meeting on Wednesday October 5th at 8.00am

Fellowship of the Wheel is currently working on a project at the Country Park to improve trails for all users and make them suitable for adaptive riders who use specially designed bicycles.
