The skies are looking clear on Friday, September 23 for an early autumn star party and open house at the Northern Skies Observatory in Peacham, behind the Peacham School! The skies are darker earlier, so we'll start our observing at 7:30 PM! Saturn and Jupiter will be our "stars" for the evening, but there will be many deep sky objects to explore, including the Andromeda Galaxy!
It's getting chilly in the evenings and we'll be standing around, so it's good to dress for temperatures about 20 degrees colder than the thermometer says! Please leave your flashlights home - we'll have yard lights to lead you up the hill from the Peacham school parking lot.
Please check www.facebook.com/nkaf.org to check on any last minute weather details - our rain date will be Saturday, same time, same place!
We hope to see you there! Clear Skies!
