Tuesdays in the Otter Creek Room (enter from the parking lot behind the library), 3:30 – 5:00 p.m., October 4-November 22
Come learn the foundation of tai chi and take home remarkably effective tools for relaxation, health, and fitness.
These simple, repetitive movements are easy to follow, learn, and use in many everyday activities, from cooking to sports, behind a desk at work or in a classroom. Attention is given to posture and coordination to improve balance and strength.
Sessions are open to all ages (5 yrs.+), and drop-ins are welcome. We invite you to help create an intergenerational tai chi group, bring your children, bring your grandchildren, and have fun together! Free of charge (contributions to the Bixby are appreciated). Instructors Jerry Henderson and Elizabeth Wirls are certified through the Tai Chi for Health Institute and are authorized trainers for Tai Chi Vermont.
