There are many open positions for paraeducators in our local school districts. How can you build your resume and get the skills needed to support students as a paraeducator? Take North Country Career Center's course!

Prepare to Become a Paraeducator class starts October 20 and runs for five Thursdays in a row through November 17 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. This course is designed to prepare paraeducators for the many job opportunities in our region. Class includes an introduction to the diverse role of paraeducators in the classroom including understanding various disabilities and their impact upon learning, how to support learners in a way that ensures access while also fostering independence, and how to navigate a professional educational environment.
