25th Annual Fall Foliage Bicycle Ride This Saturday

Join in the fun of a fall foliage bike ride on the Cross Vermont Trail in the Groton State Forest this Saturday, September 24th.

The event will start at the Upper Valley Grill in Groton and head west on the Cross Vermont Trail to the 4 Corners at Lanesboro before turning back. Following the historic Montpelier - Wells River Railroad section of the trail, you'll ride under a canopy of brilliant fall foliage colors on your way past Ricker Pond and Lake Groton. The total distance is about 18 miles round trip.

For a shorter family-friendly ride (good for those with younger children or less experienced riders), Boulder Beach is suggested as the turnaround point (11 miles round trip).

- When: Saturday, September 24 (9:30am: Sign in & bike safety check; 10:00 am: Ride begins)
