The Bridport Historical Society will hold its 2022 Annual Meeting and Pot-Luck Lunch on Sunday, September 25 at the Bridport Community/Masonic Hall. Featured will be a program by Howard Coffin on Vermont's Remarkable Sharpshooters. A seventh-generation Vermonter, Howard Coffin is the author of four books on the Civil War. In this program, he will discuss his recent research into this little-recognized group who played a little-known but major role at Gettysburg. The talk is a Vermont Humanities Council program.

The Annual Meeting begins at 1:00 p.m. with a pot-luck lunch. (Bring a dish to share!) Howard Coffin's program begins at 2:00 p.m. The Bridport Historical Society Annual Meeting will follow the program. The meeting is free and open to the public, and the Community/Masonic Hall is handicap accessible. The Community/Masonic Hall is located at 52 Crown Point Road on the Village Green in Bridport.
