The Zoning Bylaws and Subdivision Regulations are tools for implementing the Town Plan and for guiding future development. Zoning governs “uses” (e.g. residential, commercial, or industrial), the size of buildings, and how buildings relate to their surroundings, including other buildings, open spaces, and the street. Zoning influences how our community develops and the built environment that we interact with everyday.
