Learn how to be safer online with accounts/passwords. This class also includes an overview of online frauds/scams and how to avoid them. Jason Black, Program Manager at the Black River Innovation Campus will show you how to avoid these dangers. Jason's experiences also include acting as a senior web content specialist and teaching university-level IT classes.
At the end of the session you will be able to:
• Identify a secure website (i.e. a website that's safe to create an account on).
• Employ two tips from the workshop to create a strong password that is easy to remember
• Identify key factors in an email message that indicate a scam.
