Anima
Women’s Vocal Ensemble

Fiery Sky, Fertile Earth
Vocal Music for High Summer
Anima is Anne Reed, Susan Comen, Nancy Snow, Susannah Blachly, Marybeth McCaffrey, Marty Levin, Sue Carpenter, Kathy Light, Mari Cordes, Liz Winn, and Liz Thompson, director. Anima has been singing together since 1988, though there was a long hiatus when the director was busy raising a child. Back together now, and with a couple of new voices, the singers are thoroughly enjoying making good music again.

The performance will be punctuated by readings of poetry and prose. Please feel no obligation to respond with applause after each piece. See the evening as a meditation.
