Thursday 9/29 at 6:30 p.m.: Character, Conflict, and Setting: A fiction writing workshop with Chris Tebbetts - Are you working on a story? Thinking about starting one? This 90-minute hands-on workshop will help stock your writer's toolbox with techniques you can use for developing the core elements of any story: characters, conflict, and setting. Discussion and exercises will center on: "Write What You Know 2.0"; six essential elements of character; what is your story's core conflict; and bringing your setting to life. Come prepared to think creatively, let fly, and write! for beginners and experienced writers alike" and also if it needs saying: age 16+.
