Join members of the Vermont for Reproductive Liberty Campaign on Tuesday, September 20th from 6:00-7:00pm at Centre Church on Main Street in Brattleboro to learn about Article 22, the Reproductive Liberty Amendment.
The Reproductive Liberty Amendment/Article 22, previously known as Prop. 5, will be a ballot measure in Vermont's 2022 General Election. If passed, it would amend Vermont's constitution to protect every person's right to make their own reproductive decisions, like whether and when to become pregnant, use temporary of permanent birth control, to carry a pregnancy to term or to seek abortion care.
Supporters are asked to vote YES on: Sec. 2. Article 22 of Chapter 1 of the Vermont Constitution is added to read: Article 22. [Personal reproductive liberty] That an individual's right to personal reproductive autonomy is central to the liberty and dignity to determine one's own life course and shall not be denied or infringed unless justified by a compelling State interest achieved by the least restrictive means.
The public is invited to attend. Masks are required for those who have not been vaccinated for Covid.
