The Poultney Recreation Department is excited to announce the return of Poultney's Annual Youth Flea Market! On Saturday, July 5th, from 10:00am - 2:00pm, right next door to the Poultney Public Library's amazing Annual Book Sale - youth From Poultney, Ira, Middletown Springs, Tinmouth, Wells, and surrounding communities are invited to have your own table and sell your wares! Baked goods, lemonade, crafts, jewelery, clothes, old toys, games, CDs, electronics - anything you can think of!
Year after year, our vendors pocket a child's fortune during the event, and many more squander their earnings on their neighbor's wares!
Noteworthy items scooped up in the past included baby aloe plants from a pair of green-thumbed siblings, homemade post-cards created by a budding photographer, purses crafted from recycled plastics, body tattoos, bracelets and necklaces under a 'do it yourself' tent, and so much more!
Children Under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, 13 thru High School on your own and your best behavior! Register today! Forms can be downloaded at www.PoultneyRecreation.com - the fee is $5 per table.
Submit your registration form to the Poultney Public Library, William's Hardware or the Poultney Town Office, or bring it with you on the day!
Young shoppers, be sure to get there early for the best deals! We'll see you out there!
