The August meeting of the Berlin Historical Society will be held at the Berlin Town Office on Wednesday August 28, 2013 at 7:00 PM.
This meeting’s agenda will include:
- Recapping of Chapter 5 of “A Place to Pass Through”, Murder at Berlin Pond.
- An update on our cemetery project by Norb.
- An update on the Dodge papers by me.
- An interesting visit by the son of an RCAF airman that was in a 1942 air crash near Berlin Street in Barre.
Also we are making an appeal for new members who are interested in taking an active role in our Society. There are ongoing projects that can be worked on as well as many more that we haven’t even thought of yet. If you have an interest in the history of Berlin you will be amazed at the collection that we have put together in our 30 years we have been in existence.
