The Historic Society of Clarendon will be meeting at 6PM on Monday Sept. 19 at the Community Center/Grange Hall on Moulton Ave. in North Clarendon village, above the Bailey Library. There is an elevator.

The starting topic will be on the Tory/Loyalist arrests and property confiscations of the tumultuous 1770's. There were more confiscations in Clarendon than in any other town in Vermont. As always, we'll also find time for photos, documents, or objects that anyone wants to share, or interesting historical tangents as often occurs.
