Invasive Plant ID and Management

If you have, or wonder if you have, invasive plants and want to learn how to identify them and control them, join the Batten Kill Cooperative Invasive Species Management Association (BK CISMA) and Equinox Preservation Trust (EPT) for a walk through the beautiful Equinox Preserve. We will help you get a "search image" for a bunch of common invasives and give you some ideas of what to do or not do to control them. We will take a walk on the gentle trails of the lower slopes of Equinox. There will be some off-trail walking but nothing strenuous. This is a rain or shine event, so dress accordingly and bring along all your questions about invasive plants!
