Addison County BIPOC+ is hosting a Picnic, Lawn Games, and Beach Time at Kingsland Bay State Park this Sunday, September 18th from 3:30pm to sunset (weather permitting). We'll provide some snacks and refreshments. We encourage folks to BYOP (bring your own picnic!) with blankets, beach chairs, or any swim/sports gear. Please let us know if you would like to carpool (either by giving a ride, or getting a ride) and and if we can help you by covering the entry fee for you and/or your family. Addison County BIPOC+ is a community group for self-identified Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and their family members (+) who are living/working in and around Addison County, VT. Our goal is to provide a space where local folks of color can build community, break bread, and come together to support and learn from one another.
