Vermont is a tiny state with a big heart. According to local author Anne Averyt, it's a state of mind, with a deeply rooted sense of place. One that values the land and moves to the beat of the seasons.

Join the author this Tuesday night from 6 to 7 pm at the South Burlington Library for an evening of local writing and Vermont local foods as Anne Averyt shares stories and readings from her book, "Vermont Perspectives, Sense of Place, State of Mind" .

Averyt, a magazine feature writer and nine-year commentator on Vermont Public Radio, offers a unique perspective of life in Vermont and beyond, in this expanded collection of eighty of her Commentary essays.

All ages are welcome to this program, being held in partnership with the Dorothy Alling Memorial Library in Williston.
