The investment in our school through this bond is an investment in the future of all Fairfax students. Our students deserve the best facilities and opportunities we can provide.
• Our MS students will need additional space which the bond provides. Our MS students need actual science labs if we want them to become effective problem solvers who are prepared for their future.
• Our HS students need the same lab facilities if we want them to be able to investigate advanced scientific topics. Our newest and best equipped HS science lab is over 20 years old.
• This bond invests in our music program, an area in which our community takes great pride. The bond provides a band room of adequate size to allow the entire band to practice together as well as smaller rooms for ensembles. Our chorus will be able to rehearse in a room that is acoustically designed for singing.
• The bond invests in safety for all with sprinklers throughout the building. It provides easier travel between all floors of the MS and HS for students and staff with mobility needs through the redesign of the main lobby elevator and the addition of an elevator in the "wood wing".
