Vermont Youth Dancers: Building Bridges - June 20 &21, MMUHS

As the real Browns Trace Bridge closes this week, a theatrical bridge opens this weekend, on the MMU High School stage -- part of the striking set built for “Carry On…A Song Will Rise,” a Vermont Youth Dancers production, performing June 20 and 21, 6:30pm. In “Carry On, the bridge will connect friends, families, and adversaries, as they seek understanding, despite their different views of what’s right. The Vermont Youth Dancers combine popular music with contemporary dance, jazz, hip-hop, and ballet, to tell a modern day tale of rebellion and redemption, inspired by the novel Les Miserables, by Victor Hugo.

Partial proceeds benefit Mount Mansfield Union High School’s theatre department, and canned food items will be collected at each performance, for the Food Shelf.
