Join us this Sunday (9/11) at 10 a.m. at the Old Round Church (29 Round Church Road, Richmond) for the 96th Annual Round Church Pilgrimage hosted by the Richmond Congregational Church. The Round Church Pilgrimage is a traditional worship service that harkens back to the five religious groups who joined to build the Round Church in 1813, and celebrates the beauty and rich history of this unique building. During the service we will have a time of silence and prayer of remembrance for the anniversary of 9/11 and the RCC choir will sing (come to rehearsal at 9 if you'd like to sing with the choir). We will also take a collection for the Richmond Historical Society: "The Richmond Historical Society needs the support of those who care about the Old Round Church to keep this unique historic landmark in good repair and open to the public. The RHS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All contributions are tax-deductible." For more info about the church, visit www.oldroundchurch.com
Masks are optional. Folks are encouraged to BYO sandwich/picnic and chair to gather outside on the lawn outside the church after the service. RCC will provide drinks, fruit, cheese and crackers and sweets. Hope to see you at the Round Church!
