Come Celebrate Washington County History!

Kingsbury Cemetery, corner of Route 4 and Kingsbury Road, Kingsbury, NY

The program will include a brief history of the Kingsbury Cemetery, reading of the biographies of some of the soldiers buried there, cannon firings, bagpiper, guided tour of gravesites of Revolutionary soldiers.

The Washington County Historical Society is undertaking a research program to identify all Revolutionary Soldiers buried in this county and to assemble as many biographies as possible in one place. This commemoration program at Kingsbury is the first of what we hope will be many more hosted throughout the county.

Please park at the firehouse but NOT in front of the doors.
