Join us in forming a new coalition, Burlington for Reproductive Justice, with the following goals relevant to all Burlington residents:
(1) pass the Reproductive Liberty Amendment (RLA) Article 22 to the VT Constitution, guaranteeing abortion access in VT, by an overwhelming majority to send a clear signal to the rest of the country;
(2) promote a Shield Law to protect VT abortion providers who practice tele-medicine with people in states with severe abortion restrictions.
We'll be meeting on Sat. morning, 9/10, at the Fletcher Library at 10:30am. Join us for this organizing meeting to build support for Vermont's Reproductive Liberty Amendment (RLA) and to plan actions to expand access to abortion and full reproductive healthcare. Planned Parenthood's Hannah Brislin will explain how to get involved in canvassing to turn out maximum numbers to vote for the RLA in Burlington and in Chittenden County. After that we'll discuss building a movement for full reproductive justice in Vermont and across the country.
