Families with youth ages 10-17 looking for a year-round program of educational and outdoor activities designed to develop life and leadership skills in a safe environment can find it with Scouts BSA. Scouts BSA Troop 658 (Girls and Boys) is holding an open House on September 11th from 2-5 PM at Saint Francis Xavier School in Winooski. These troops for boys and girls, respectively, meet regularly at the school and go on outings around the state and beyond.
The program offers fun and challenging activities that promote character development and physical fitness. Community engagement and leadership development become increasingly important parts of the program as older youth lead their own activities with Scouts BSA. Family involvement is the key to successful Scouting.
Scouting provides a unique opportunity for all youth (both boys and girls) to grow into capable leaders and citizens.
