The Trail Around Middlebury (TAM) is a project of the Middlebury Area Land Trust (MALT). TAM Trek is a joyous celebration of the TAM and this year marks the 19th running on September 18, 2022! We have a 19-mile race for those who want to step foot on the WHOLE TAM, a gorgeous 10K in Wright Park and Otter Creek Gorge, and a 2-mile fun run in Wright Park for all ages and abilities.

We have stocked aid stations, donations and RAFFLE PRIZES from over 25 local businesses, good jams at the finish line, a Bee's Wrap and Vermont Soap for every participant, and awards for top three finishers in the male and female category for each event.

TAM Trek raises about $18,000 each year, but in 2022 it cost MALT over $30,000 to maintain the TAM. All proceeds go right to the TAM!
