In this groundbreaking program, Ensemble Musica Humana celebrates the legacy of 18th-century Irish composer and virtuoso harper Turlough O’Carolan. We invite you to join us as we bring to life a selection of his musical works on period instruments and original poetry sung in Gaelic.
Ensemble Musica Humana is a vibrant ensemble specializing in imaginative performances of early music. From Hildegard to Handel, we shed new light on music from volatile times in human history, and through carefully researched programs breathe life into the multitude of music from these eras that has yet to be performed or recorded.
